The education market: the beating heart of the Woudschoten Chemistry Conference

On 6 and 7 November 2026, 350 to 400 teachers and laboratory technicians will gather at the 36th Woudschoten Chemistry Conference to immerse themselves in the latest developments in chemistry education. The conference is organised by the Centrum JongerenCommunicatie Chemie (C3), in collaboration with the Freudenthal Institute and the volunteers of the programme committee. Alongside a comprehensive programme of lectures, masterclasses and workshops, the education market — featuring approximately 30 stands — forms a regular part of the Friday programme.

A market full of inspiration and connection

Over the past few years, the education market has grown into an important meeting place. In the Atrium of the Woudschoten Hotel and Conference Centre, publishers, education organisations, and laboratory suppliers, amongst others, present their products and services to an audience actively seeking inspiration for the classroom. Visitors and exhibitors engage in conversation, share experiences, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Why organisations take part

Previous editions show that exhibitors participate primarily for three reasons: to raise brand awareness, to bring their products and services to people’s attention, and to make direct contact with their target audience. They see it not only as an opportunity to showcase themselves, but also to hear what is happening in the classroom.

Arthur Venhoven, general manager of Woots, participated for the first time in 2025 and looks back on it positively: “There was a great deal of interest in our assessment platform, we were able to have excellent conversations with chemistry teachers, and the organisation was outstanding.”

Reserve your spot

Interest in the education market is considerable every year. Various stand locations are available, with differing rates depending on size and position. Organisations wishing to make direct contact with teachers and lab technicians can reserve their stand now. The most sought-after spots are snapped up quickly, so do not delay.
