Furthermore, participants voted in favour of the request to establish a new EuChemS Division for Glycoscience, as well as a new EuChemS Working Group on Mechanochemistry. The meeting was attended by representatives of European chemical professional societies. The KNCV was represented by director Jan-Willem Toering and the KVCV by secretary Thomas Vranken.
