Call for volunteers for KVCV

Do you want to commit yourself to the Royal Flemish Chemical Society (KVCV) and contribute to our fascinating projects? Then become one of our valued volunteers, with no obligations!

At KVCV, we believe in the power of collaboration and community spirit to achieve our goals. As a volunteer, you are an essential part of our team, contributing to the strengthening of our association and the promotion of chemical sciences in Flanders.

Whether you have a passion for organising events, a talent for marketing and communications, or an affinity for IT and technology, there is a place for you at KVCV. Here are some of the areas in which you can get involved:

  1. Organisation of activities
Are you a student or a young professional? Get involved with Jong-KVCV and help organise lectures, company visits and conferences aimed specifically at young people. Are you a chemistry teacher, or is chemistry education your passion? Then our Education & Training section is looking for you. They organise study days and develop didactic materials. Those with a specific interest in a chemical subdiscipline such as analytical, medicinal or organic chemistry can contribute to organising workshops, seminars and discussion panels to promote knowledge sharing and networking within these fields. They can do so through our subject-specific sections, or play a founding role in the establishment of a new section.
  2. Marketing and Communications
Do you have a flair for writing and an interest in disseminating scientific knowledge? Join our team in creating content for our members’ magazine, our newsletter and social media. You will have the opportunity to engage with our members and partner organisations, thereby contributing to a vibrant chemical community.
  3. IT
If you have a background in IT and enjoy contributing to the development of websites, apps and databases, we can make excellent use of your skills. Or perhaps you are keen to deepen your knowledge of PHP, SQL or other technologies? At KVCV, we offer opportunities to expand your expertise and gain hands-on experience.

Would you like to become part of our enthusiastic team and contribute to the growth of KVCV? Sign up now as a volunteer, with no obligation! Enter your details and any areas of interest here (kvcv.be/nl/vereniging/nieuwe-vrijwilligers), and we will be happy to add you to our mailing list for new volunteers. This way, you will stay informed about our initiatives and projects to which you can contribute.

Thank you for your interest in KVCV, and we look forward to shaping the future of the chemical sciences together with you!
