Kekulé Cycle XX: “Our World in Transition”

The 20th (!) edition of the Kekulé cycle got underway on 24 October 2023 with the first theme: “The Future Sourcing of Raw Materials”.

The Kekulé Cycle is a biennial event that brings the latest scientific trends and challenges in the (life) sciences and technology to the general public. It is organised by the University of Antwerp and the Royal Flemish Chemical Society (KVCV) with support from the chemical and life sciences industry. Through a series of lecture evenings, a diverse audience is brought into contact with contemporary technological and socio-economically relevant developments concerning societal challenges that feature prominently on everyone’s agenda — drawing on insights from academia, research institutes, and industry alike.
