Unique Opportunity for Chemistry Teachers: Join the Biotech Trail Europe 2024!

Are you a chemistry teacher with an interest in biotechnology and innovation? Then C2W | Mens&Molecule and Industrielinqs have an incredible opportunity for you! We are offering one chemistry teacher the chance to take part in Bite24 – an educational journey across Europe focusing on the latest developments in industrial biotechnology

What does it involve?

Bite24 is no ordinary study trip. It is an adventure in which you will be introduced to the cutting edge of industrial biotechnology projects. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to visit a variety of innovative projects alongside a group of enthusiastic young professionals and students. This experience not only offers a profound insight into the biotechnology industry, but also enables you to share your experiences through vlogs, blogs, and social media.

How can you take part?

We are looking for a creative and motivated chemistry teacher who can convey their enthusiasm for chemistry and biotechnology. To be considered for this unique trip, we ask you to create a vlog explaining why you are the perfect candidate to join Bite24. Show us how your participation will not only be an enriching experience for yourself, but also how you intend to use it to inspire your pupils.

Criteria for participation:

  • You are currently employed as a chemistry teacher.
  • You have a passion for sustainable innovation.
  • You are willing and able to share your experiences during the trip.
  • You are available at the end of June/beginning of July 2024.

What do you need to do?

Send your vlog (maximum 2 minutes) in which you share your motivation and enthusiasm to Esther Thole, editor-in-chief of C2W | Mens&Molecule (ethole@kncv.nl). Don’t forget to include your contact details and a brief description of your current teaching role.

Deadline:

Please ensure your vlog reaches us no later than 31 March. The winner will be announced shortly afterwards.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of an unforgettable experience that will transform your perspective on chemistry and biotechnology and provide you with the perfect tools to inspire your pupils. We look forward to receiving your entry!
